Internationalization

The Center of Mathematical Studies, ULisboa, is one of the Portuguese Mathematical Research Units with the longest tradition in international connections and research collaboration.

This translates into a fertile exchange of ideas, students and researchers, and scientific publications in journals of great international impact.

More than half of our team members have their PhD degrees in top universities outside Portugal, and continue developing joint scientific work.
